nesting properly?
Hi all and good afternoon, im working on a sheet that seems to be giving me an issue and I am aware its my lack of knowledge. Hopefully someone from the forums can give me some insight as to how to achieve my desired result.
I have a cells contents with:
=-SUMIFS({Transactions Range 1}, {Transactions Range 4}, ="Issue", {Transactions Range 2}, "100061961")
This does what i want it to do, giving a total quantity of item number 100061961 if its listed as 'issue' in another column. The trouble im having is, if the item number 100061961 was listed as 'receive', i want it to give the total quantity but as 'sum' instead of '-sum' as shown above.
Thank you all for reading and I hope I can learn more though this community!

Hi @jpetraccoro,
Try:
=SUMIFS({Transactions Range 1}, {Transactions Range 4}, ="Receive", {Transactions Range 2}, "100061961") - SUMIFS({Transactions Range 1}, {Transactions Range 4}, ="Issue", {Transactions Range 2}, "100061961")
