Is it possible to restrict Check Box Columns to specific user or account types?

I have done that by locking the status column....If the column is locked no one else can make changes to it.

Nice one Cindy, just to add...providing they too are not Admins, only editors. Richardr

Thank you for the responses, i Have confirmed this does work after adjusting some roles. Now it would be nice to be able to assign different levels of access for columns.
The intent is to allow check marks during a project to be checked off only by the person responsible for the action.

Michael, one option (which might require a little more work from you) would be to share the sheet to the users as Viewers then send Update Requests to the users assigned to the task. The Update Requests will only include rows you select and will give the recipient the ability to edit the rows.
