Workflow Automation Separate Conditions w/ alerts
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to create one workflow where based on the dropdown value selected, it would send the appropriate alert.
Example
Stakeholder decision (Options - Approved, Denied, Deferred)
If you select one of the three options within the dropdown, it was alert users with the appropriate email communication (Congrats, approved, etc)

Rather than three separate workflows you could do it this way.
Create a v-lookup for the message that goes with the message for each outcome. Remember you can have whatever you want in each on.
Then use this to populate the message field on the main sheet
Then set up a notification that pulls in the options and the message into the notification
This example only has a simple message but you could make the message as long as you wanted .
This means no need for conditions or having to choose what the filter is. Just use the information to create the text.
