Automated Workflow approval

I've set up a workflow and it sends to 2 people who can approve/decline. I have 2 questions. 1) What happens if 1 person "declines" and the other "approves". It seems in my test that the "approve" trumps and its recorded in the approval status column. Is there a way to capture both approval responses? 2) I am able to capture the "date stamp approved" but can I capture WHO approved it based on the people in the workflow?

Question: Do both parties need to approve the request in order for it to be actually "Approved" or is it that just one of them needs to approve it then send notice that it has been approved by [INSERT NAME] to the other Approver(s)?
