Including Parents in Report

I'm creating a report and filtering by the value in a particular column. However, I would like to see the parent rows as well. In the original sheet, I can create a filter and check the box that says "include parent rows". However, in the report, I don't have that option when selecting a filter. How can including the parent rows be accomplished in the report?

    Hi @BSADK

    Reports evaluate a sheet on a row-by-row basis, without registering the Hierarchy. This means that the parent rows in your source sheet would need to match your Filter criteria in order to display in the Report.

    It's likely we could create a "helper" column with a formula to auto-populate data in your parent rows in the sheet, so that you can then use this in your Report filter. Here's another Community post with an example: Parent/grand-parent rows in reports
