Change color of cell if date is within certain amount of time
I am trying to change the cell color if a date is older than 4 months. My column is set to "date" format, and I have tried conditional formatting "in the last (days)" set to 30 and this doesn't seem to work.
Thanks

Your rule is disabled. Click the down arrow to the left of it and choose Enable Rule. See mine is disabled and looks just like yours in your screenshot:
Here it is enabled:

@Glenn Balon 4 months is 120 days, give or take. Try "in the last (days)" set to 120

Thanks for your response.
I have tried multiple times, and even deleted and re-created the rule. Several of the dates I have are within 120 days. Or does this not apply to a date, and just when the cell was modified? Either way it isn't working.

How exactly is your date column being populated?
-
Date is added by user by selecting from the popup calendar. Usually they just use "Today" button.

I was enabling and disabling without success yesterday. It seems to be working now. I did reset my browser settings this morning. Maybe coincidence?
