Can an email template be built in Smart Sheets that is sent out to a DL?

Can an email template be built in Smartsheet that can accept free form text in certain fields and also be able to be emailed out in the G-Suite to a DL. The other condition would be to be able to reuse the sent email message and be able to send subsequent email updates using the same email thread in the G-suite. Not sure how to accomplish this with SmartSheet or by using native G-suite email templates. In the ideal world, I would also like a log of the Gmail messages that I sent out that would be able to be persistent based on the usage of this email template.

There is a Mail Merge for Gmail extension available for free for Google spreadsheets. Basically you would enter different data into different columns including your free form portions and then use placeholders when setting up the template.

You may want to see if they have some type of community forum set up that would be able to provide more detailed help.
