Visitor Check In/Check Out

Is there anyway to have a visitor sheet to visitor info. The form would initially show 2 options, "Check-In" and "Check Out" when the visitor arives at reception they press Check-in and fill in the required info. and there entry has a status of onsite or something similar. Then when leaving the visitor can select "Check-out" and select their name from a list of everyone thats entry status is marked as "onsite" and have a button or drop down to select they are checking out and the status will change to checked Out and record a time stamp?

You can add a column "Check Out Time" and choose Auto-Number/System as the column type, and under system-generated column select Modified (date).

This will record the date and time when a record in the row is changed. The risk is that if data is changed in the row then it will overridge the information in the "Check Out Time" cell.

There is an Automation Workflow to record a date, however it doesn't record the time.
