Create Smartsheet Contacts based on Form Response
Hello All,
I want to create a form for external use. Depending on the responses on the form I want to send additional forms to the submitter. If I collect the submitters first, last, and email via the form, is there a way to them complete a Contacts Field automatically?
Thanks,
Alex

I believe the solution for this is to include a 'Contact' style field on a form and use validation to ensure an email is entered.

@Alex Knisely - Create a contact column in your intake sheet. When adding it to the form, set the validation to email and make it required.

To add to Meg's excellent advice/answer.
Have them submit the initial form and use Workflows combined with the automated Update Requests Action to fill in the rest.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
