Recurrently Send a Dashboard as an Attachment

I understand that it is possible to recurrently send a report as an attachment, but is it possible to recurrently send a dashboard as an attachment?

Regretfully, current functionality does not seem to support that idea, but it's a good one. Here's where you can put in an enhancement request.

As an alternative in the meantime, you can set up a reoccurring alert from the grid where the dashboard data resides and embed the dashboard url link (or published link) into the alert email message. The alert can be sent at the reoccurrence frequency you desire.

Would that work?
