Field Settings Resetting the Help Text in a Form

I just created a new form and added a "Do you agree to the Terms & Conditions" Field Name. I put the Terms & Conditions in the help text. After doing that, I edited the field name and after doing so, the help text disappeared. This also happened when I first saved, then edited. I propose not clearing/resetting the help text when editing the field name.
