Please add this feature, ASAP!
I have been frustrated with this myself on several occasions. While bridge is a good option, not all of us are as familiar with bridge and would like to have the simple interaction with Smartsheet and just picking a sheet to copy to.
copy an automation workflow from one sheet to another sheet would prevent user from having to spend meaningless time setting up automation requests
Essential feature. No excuse to not offer this
Please add this feature. This would be a lot of help!
YES, please!
Please add this function...this tool should be about reducing repetitive functions. When you can't duplicate functions from sheet to sheet it reduces the value of Smartsheet.
I've seen requests for this before but it would be extremely helpful/useful/time saving if automations could be copied from one sheet to another.
Thank you!
Please add this feature! we are working with multiple teams that are setting up extensive workflows that need to be copied to similar projects.
This seems like an essential feature, and it apparently has had multiple requests since 2020 (and no way to upvote a request or even see them). My partial workaround has been to save the sheet with the automation as a template (be be sure to save the automations in the dialog), then create the new sheet using the template. It's still a pain, as this is only useful when you're starting from scratch. If you have existing sheets then add a new automation to one, you must manually recreate for all your sheets. https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/65402/is-it-possible-to-copy-an-automation-workflow-from-one-sheet-to-another-sheet
This would be a nice feature. To copy workflows between sheets and or import from another sheet.
Such basic, important functionality. I can't believe it's still not been implemented.
Please make this a feature! It seems so simple, I cannot believe it's been requested 2 years ago and still hasn't gained enough traction to be added. Is this on a roadmap for Smartsheet at least?
This could help me in a huge way. I just started a new project. A co-worker wanted to learn Smartsheet, so we do development together. Everything is happening slowly in stages, as we only work 1 hour/week on this project. Well, workflows and Conditional formatting will come last. So that means everything is being created MANUALLY multiple times. There should be an easier way. In Excel, I can export a macro (.bas file), and then import it into another workbook, no problems. I need a quick/easy solution like that.
