Best way to Share a Filtered Grid

Hello,

Can anyone give me best practice to share a grid with selected filters? Ideally, I would like to link on my SharePoint site several Card Views of a large sheet. I would like each link to show a different filter. Is this possible?

Yes. If you select the filter and copy the URL, it will include the specific filter.

Hi Andree, thanks for the quick reply. That was the expected behavior I thought I would get, but it does not work. That seems to work with only 1 filter, but not several.

For instance:

Card View, Filter "A"- URL works fine

If I create another URL for Card View, Filter "B", the first filter no longer works (it seems to override with Filter "B")

The use case I have is to create 4 unique URLs that share the same grid, but different filters. I have a workaround to just create a report, but that doesn't give me the Card view functionality I would like.

Strange! It should work. Do you see that the 4 URLs are different?

Yes, I see the URL change. See picture below: when I copy and go to that link it does not show the default view listed below (comes up in Grid with different filter).

Ok. Now I see the issue! You must take the URL from the browser when selecting the filter(s).

The Sheet Sharing dialogue where you're in now only sets the default sharing view.
