Related to Collaborator login

I have a license and I have recently added my client as a collaborator in the sheet but when she accesses the link smartsheet prompts for Login ID and Password.

It's weird because when we add someone in the collaborator no matter whether he/she has a license they can access the sheet and do editing without entering any user credentials.

Please advise how to solve this issue. I have checked the email address and its correct so problem is something else.

Even though Collaborators are "Free Users" they still need to login to SS. When a sheet is shared with the (free/unlicensed) user then when the user clicks on the link the user will need to create a SS password (login is the email id used to share) and then that user becomes a collaborator (aka free /unlicensed user).

If you do not want the user to login you can publish the sheet with the permissions such that anyone with the link can edit or view depending on what you want the user to do.
