Smartsheet Calendar App
Hi All,
I want to know if there is a way to allow other people to comment on the smartsheet calendar app without sharing the source smartsheet.
For example, I shared with someone else only the smartsheet calendar app; however, she is not able to input any comment. She doesn't have the access to the source smartsheet.
In the other side, the person I have share both source smartsheet and smartsheet calendar is able to leave the comment
Would there be any possibility to have people doesnt have the access to the source smartsheet to input something in the smartsheet calendar app.
Thank you

Hi @Emi
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
Best,

Hi Andree,
@Andrée Starå Thank you for your reply. I want to follow up a question. What access level they need in source smartsheet in order to leave comment in the smartsheet calendar app? Can view access leave comment in the calendar app?
Thank you

Happy to help!
They would need to have Editor access.

Thank you for your quick response.
I am wondering if there is any way that can let our end user (without the editor access) to input the comment into the smartsheet. Any recommendation it's good.
I have a automatic request an update set up; however, they only allow one response and the link expire. Is there a way that they can keep using the same link and input response if they need it?
Thank you
