Backend Process for creating Workspace and Project Folder

Hello,

Currently we create a new workspace for each projects even if that project has different Location, (ex. X Los Angeles, X New York, X Vegas) will have separate workspace. However, we want to create a one workspace for the same Project and have folder inside that for different location.

So X will be the Workspace Name and X Los Angeles, X New York, X Vegas will be the folder (Projects) inside that workspace.

If there are no multiple location for the Project, we want it to have separate workspace.

Is this possible to do? If so any documentation out there i can look at?

Thank you for the quick response.

How would the permission work? If we don't want other folks to see other project. Can we just share the folder?

Is there no way to create a multiple workspace and have project inside it as folder? (automated)

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to have a Workspace in a Workspace or Workspaces in folders or share a folder at the moment.

Do you have access to Control Center?

Yes, i have access to Control Center.

What about creating Workspace (USA) and having us projects (Folders) in it? and Creating Another Workspace (UK) and having UK projects in it?

Yes, that's the way I'd recommend doing it, but I didn't think that was an option.

So there is a way to make it like that from control center? Creating multiple workspace for different location and having multiple projects (Folder)?

You can select the Workspace manually.

Another way to do it would be to develop one Control Center Blueprint and then make copies of it and change the Destination and the Trigger for Approval.

Make sense?

That makes sense, since we only have 1 blueprint, from control center if i choose "Enable users to select workspace" when triggering project creation, would we need to select workspace manually? or is there way to auto provision that?

If it's manual when is that done? After it's been approved from intake sheet? or do we need to disable our current Auto process?

If you have one Blueprint, they would need to select the Workspace manually, so it can't be automatic.
