How does a record in a sheet from a form submission just disappear?
Hello,
I designed a request form for a team that included a copy of the submission to be sent to the submitter's email once the request was submitted.
The submitter submitted a request, received a copy of the submission, but there was no record of the submission in the backend sheet that is connected to the form.
I looked into the activity log and there was (1) no record of the submission and (2) no record of the submission being deleted.
Has anyone else had this issue? This is the first time that it has happened and I am worried that it won't be the last.

Is it possible they filled out a form linked to a different (but similar) sheet?

That is very strange indeed. Maybe forward the email and sheet ID to smartsheet so they can look into it?
If it was showing in the activity log I would suspect a filter or way at the bottom of the sheet.

Can they resubmit the form to see if it happens again?

I initially thought that it was just a miscommunication between the form and the sheet or maybe a bug in the system.
I filtered the entire activity log and found nothing related to the submission. There was also nothing that has been deleted in the sheet for record purposes.
There has been many submissions after this issue and they all appear regularly in the sheet. I also set up the sheet to have all of the for submissions appear at the top of the sheet.
