I need to edit a recurrence for sending a file.
I need to stop a recurrence for sending a file. The file is being sent every morning yet none of the "sent" e-mails in the "Send as Attachment" menu show the recurrance symbol and all optins for editing and deleting the messages are greyed out. I am an admin and set this up last May myself. It worked normally then as I was able to edit and delete the reccurance. How do I stop this e-mail from being sent every morning?

It's my understanding that you can't delete the past messages. The Delete option next to Edit Recurrence option is not for deleting the message, but instead deleting the recurrence for future emails.
If a recurrence is present, you should be able to edit it. If the End Date of your recurrence is in the past, then the recurrence menu options will be grayed out because there is no longer a recurrence.
Have you by chance set automation to send that daily email? It's worth checking.
If you have no recurrences, and there's no automation sending the file daily; you'll have to contact Smartsheet support for them to help you.

I figured it out. I forgot that I had set up a second sheet that was pulling data from the first. The report was being sent from teat sheet.
