Summary: Allow the admin to select multiple contact lists in Dynamic View when restricting what the current user can see.
I currently have a portal for our various locations to report temporary issues. A good example of this are the recent hurricanes in Florida. Currently, the Dynamic View only allows the submitting contact to modify their existing submissions. I have a request from users to allow the area manager the ability to do the same for all their locations. While I can work around this by having different views for each contact list, this can get confusing for the users and harder to admin. I tried to combine the two contacts for each row into one joined contact list but this doesn't work either.
Hi @Rick Benton
I hope you're well and safe!
You could restrict the view by a filter instead that is set up with the current user for multiple contact columns instead.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Can you provide an example? I am unclear how to add a "current user" filter on a sheet? I get how to create a filter in general, but if I have 3 contact columns...example Manager, District Manager, Area Manager...all of which should be able to see their respective location details...not sure how I can accomplish that with a filter?
