Outlook Calendar utilization

Hi all,

How does Outlook Calendar integrate with Smartsheet? I'd like to se an overview of all the task where I am assigned. Where is my actions needed and when?

Have to I use Outlook or Task manager for this?

Or how are you managing your open tasks?

You can Publish the calendar from Smartsheet and subscribe to it in Outlook.

Thanks. It seems to work. There is a little delay in the publishing process, but thats not a problem.

Is it possible to have a consolidated overview somewhere in the invironment that shows all the projects where you have a task? Or should I build that up manually by using automatication?

If column contain %My Name% then add to this and that sheet?

You could create a report referencing all the sheets with tasks to get an overview, but unfortunately, it's not possible to subscribe to the calendar in a report.

That would work, yes.

I just wanted to have both options available, and not necessarily combined.

I - who would be a daily user of the system - would prefer a report/sheet inside Smartsheet to collect tasks. Others - who would only use Smartsheet when requested for - would prefer an Outlook calendar reminder.

I'd recommend testing what's available in Smartsheet, and if it doesn't work, I would explore 3rd-party options or premium apps.
