Find & Replace
I did a search in the community posts, but was not able to find an answer to my question. Please forgive me if I somehow missed it.
One of the features I sorely miss in Smartsheet versus Excel is "Find" and its companion "Find & Replace". I use them daily in Excel and while I know you can filter columns in Smartsheet, it is cumbersome to use filters in a large sheet. Are there any plans to add Find or Find & Replace?

You guys have a wonderful tool taking shape here. I want to second that feature request-- Find & Replace, aka Replace -- and say that this is super fundamental to the world of spreadsheet editing. Thanks

I would also like to see this functionality.
This need becomes more and more necessary the more extensively a customer uses the product and buiilds in depth, complicated sheets that make bulk edits difficult without functionality like this.

+1 This is absolutley required, especially when using templates. this is not a nice to have this is a critical missing feature.

Agreed - Replaceing "ID" in my templates with the name of the Instructional Designer assigned to the project would be a HUGE timesaver.

A very basic, often used feature; really needs to be implemented in Smartsheet! Further keep up good work Smartsheet! Brilliant product.

I'm in bad need of this feature right now as I need to find contacts in my current file and replace with contacts in My Contacts. Any eta on when this will be worked on? This feature is a natural for those of us used to Excel and assume similar functionality out of Smartsheet due to some of the visual similarities.

I do not have any information on this functionality being added to the application but our Product team is aware of the high number of users requesting this.

At the moment I am exporting to Excel, doing the F&R, and then pasting back in again...

I'm jumping on the bandwagon in agreement as well. This would be VERY beneficial.
