@Genevieve P do you know the ETA of adding summarized reports to dashboards? Or using that data in metrics on dashboards? Both would be incredible enhancements!

I don't have an ETA, but I know our team is actively working on adding these grouping and summary features to dashboards! In the meantime, one way to include this information would be to Publish the Report and embed it as a Web Content Widget (instead of a Report Widget).

@Tiffany Fuller On the first Sheets tab in the Report Builder you can choose to include or exclude sheets as needed. If you've selected an entire folder or workspace, you may want to use the group feature to group by sheet name instead, and then collapse the rows from the sheets you don't need to see. Would that work for you?

Hi, so not being able to print a report with grouping and summaries to PDF is a major showstopper for us being able to share important information with clients who are not coming into our Smartsheet instance.

It looks to me like this feature should have been released in Q1. Any update ont he ETA please because I do not seen this feature in the new report designer which is just going live (which I have on the EAP programme)

I don't understand how "Support for Reports with grouping and summary" is outstanding - isn't this about the only area where Smartsheet could offer substantial benefits (over Excel) out of the box (having got past the card & gantt views, which aren't exactly rocket science)?! 😔

Support for grouping and summary in report widgets (on dashboards) is now available!

Also, if you are not already subscribed, I'd highly recommend signing up for Smartsheet release notes. It's the best way to be notified when we make an update in Smartsheet.

Any idea why the grouping titles are not showing on this report?

This report is grouped by Region, but the region names are not showing in the summary rows.

Is the Primary Column hidden? I ran into this issue and I had Primary hidden. Once I unhid it, my problem was solved, i.e. the grouping titles appeared.

Tomorrow, we will be explaining to our biggest client why we can only print dumps of their spreadsheets and CANNOT offer them organized/grouped/summarized reports. Wonder how they will react to that? Not having this basic feature...and paying the insane prices we are paying for Smartsheets...makes us feel pretty stupid. They will ask us what the eta is on having this feature...and if it's not soon enough...we will have to scrap everything we've done and start over with new software.
