Historical figures you say? Ah, yes... I would interview myself at 10 years of age. It is amazing how our experiences mold our opinions and perceptions of the world around us. I would imagine there would be a lot to talk about.

Anne Boleyn. Controversial then, but now?
-
I would interview George Washington. Our country's founding fathers had incredible vision to implement a form of government that valued and protected individual freedoms, created a balance of power to prevent over reach and abuse while allowing a diverse base of citizens to develop. I'd be very interested in hearing his perspective on the original plan as well as his perspective on the world today and insight into how to balance those factors today.

Oprah! She is a great example of how against all odds you can overcome any challenge and live your life to the fullest.

If you had your own talk show, who would your first guest be and why?
My first guest would be Kelly Manno from TikTok (@kellymanno) who has done an excellent job describing and defending GenX from the guy who asked the famous question "Who let GenX off the hook?" in his own TikTok post. Her tagline is "TikTok's unofficial ambassador of #GenX" and she is a lot of fun to listen to.

I'd make it a show about music and musicians, and just interview them before and after they play. The show would be like a direct descendent/ combination of the Arsenio Hall Show, Later with Jools Holland, and Charlie Rose.
And my first guest would be Prince.

@GraceG đź’Ż absolutly the first person that came to mind! She's amazing!!

Having Maya Angelou as my first guest would provide an opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics, from literature and poetry to social justice and personal growth. Her presence on the show would not only be a tribute to her remarkable legacy but also a chance to learn from her wisdom and insights, which continue to resonate with people around the world. Maya Angelou's words and experiences have the power to inspire and uplift, and I believe that a conversation with her would be both enlightening and transformative for the audience.

Hi, that is a hard question, there are so many peoples in the world but I want to interview my mother that I lost when I was 18. To soon for me.
I still have so many questions about my childhood that she knows and nobody else.

Agree with @jan aelbrecht, I'd be spoilt for choice!
I'd love to have an opportunity to chat with Abraham Lincoln! A true leader guided by humility, realism, and consistency. Would love to learn from his experiences and how he took a very deliberate strategy by bringing his political rivals into senior cabinet positions because "yes" people were not the answer to building a better world and society.
Also, Martin Luther King, another inspiring figure who had a vision and a cause and knew how to get people, who shared the same beliefs, to rally behind them and behind him.
However, top of my list would be Leonardo Da Vinci. A genius multi-disciplinarian - he was an artist, an engineer, a scientist, an architecture, a scholar, and a writer. A true renaissance man. His work in all fields continues to inspire and amaze people today.

This may sound strange but I would pick my Mom. She passed away in 1999 and I miss hearing the sound of her voice.
-
Would be interesting to interview the president. I have a few unanswered questions that his press secretary doesn't seem to ever want to answer.
-
If I could interview anyone, I would love to be able to bring Walt Disney forward in history and get his reaction to the changes in the entertainment and theme park industry. Walt Disney was always an inventor, but I would love to get his reaction to inventions like virtual reality and his company having parks in several different countries around the world. Especially in countries like Japan that the US was at War with during his lifetime.

Great Question!
I would bring back our Founding Fathers to thank them for the system they created. This system has been tested repeatedly the last few years. I would love their feedback on what they established and where we are today.
Each future episode would be a historical person from a pivotal time and include the moral of what we learned. War, poverty, struggles, kindness, empathy, and the perils of life.
All would end with a simple act of kindness and how to pass it on.
-
Nelson Mandela. I would love to soak in some of that positivity despite the circumstances.
