While creating a JIRA Connector, most of the Custom Fields are not appearing. Custom Fields created using the Jira Service Desk should also be available while creating the Connector Workflow so that all the fields are available in the Smartsheet which help us in capturing the exact data.
Currently, User Picker (single user) as a custom field in Jira doesn't support bidirectional syncs using the Jira connector.
Assignee and Reporter both work bidirectionally but they're built-in Jira fields so its supported by the Smartsheet connector. If you create a custom field using the same field type as them "User Picker (single user)" it does not work, you have to do a 1-way sync from Jira to Smartsheet to get anything to show up in Smartsheet.

This is an ABSOLUTELY necessary function as we cannot use the connector without a full data set. Smartsheet no longer meets our needs without full visibility into all of our data. What a disappointment!
I also created several Jira connector workflows to pull developer data into Smartsheet sheets. The workflows were working (multiple times per day for over 2 months) and then several entire columns stopped pulling ANY data. I contacted support and said that custom fields sometimes just stop. This is unacceptable. Now we have to find an entire new solution after our program dashboard was built around using Smartsheet Jira connector. Wish there was more support from Smartsheet here.
