Introduce yourself & get to know your peers!

Hi! I'm relatively new to Smartsheet (my team started using it in Nov. 2023). I attended the Smartsheet User Group meeting in Waltham, MA yesterday. I'm excited to learn more about what Smartsheet can do for me and my team. We aren't project managers, so there is a lot of learning for us to do. I work in Continuing Medical Education for a large hospital system in CT with 7 acute care hospitals, MANY outpatient facilities, and approximately 37,000 employees. We are hoping that Smartsheet will help us stay organized and on top of project/educational activity deadlines.

I'm a Business Operations Specialist at ABC for Sports. I have an addiction to all things Smartsheet! I try to find a use for it in everything I do from scheduling, payments, tracking, everything. Automations has replaced my need to set reminders for myself...it is literally a part of my brain now. My goal this year is to learn as much as possible and enhance my Smartsheet world.

Hey Smartsheet users! What a great site. My name is Joe Busch and I am a Smartsheet addict. My wife is a Smartsheet guru and has presented a session at Smartsheet in 2022. When I was a kid, I was an altar boy and wanted to be a priest to help people.... ended up in the IT Support world and it looks like I spend almost my entire career helping people be better at using technology.

While Smartsheet makes my job easier, it also has other skills. For Christmas this year, I created a "Date Night Calendar" sheet with a form that explained the rules. She was responsible for creating a "Special" Date between the 1-15 of every month, and I had to create one for the 15th- end of each month. The form included the date, location (DC, Maryland, Virginia, other), attire (formal, casual, bathing suit, winter gear, other), accessories (Towels, Fire wood, Sleeping Bag, Food and\or wine, Golf clubs, Ski poles, Passport and\or Global Entry ID card, Other). The recipient would get a Smartsheet notification when the Date Night was entered and could Accept/Decline/Counter. First month she picked a restaurant night with friends and I found a cooking class on Spanish Paella at Sur La Table. We do love eating!
