Can you re-trigger an approval workflow?
I have a couple different scenarios that I've run into. The first is that the end user is saying that the approval request isn't coming to them, so they can't approve anything.
The second scenario is that the approval goes to a person that they wrongly identified and we need to re-route the approval to the appropriate person.
Is there a way as a sheet owner/admin to intervene and make these things happen?

Depends on the trigger set for the approval automation.
In a few of my sheets, I added a helper "checkbox" column called "Run Approvals Again", and created a duplicate automation that only runs "when rows are changed" - when "Run Approvals Again" changes to "checked" "when triggered".

That seems to work!! Thank you for your insight. Much appreciated.

If you change the previous approval to something else, save the sheet, change the status back & resave again… it will resend the approval email to the next person on the list. (I did have the status of the next approver as "submitted," don't know if that makes a difference)
