I strongly agree with Jeff. This is something fundamental and as a former software engineer and now Technical Project Manager I find the lack of a key shortcut for expanding and collapsing child rows inefficient. May I also suggest that something like <Ctrl+> and <Ctrl-> since the left hand can use ctrl and the right can hit the + or - which would be intuitive in my opinion. Please implement this. I notice another post on this topic years ago. Lastly, Smartsheet is a great product, keep it up the good work!

As Business Analyst, I'm frustrated when working with large projects that I cannot expand and collapse with a hot key. I find it cumbersome to use a mouse to click the + or - on a row of nested rows to expand or collapse the nested rows. Ideally, I'd like keyboard/hotkey functionality tied to the expand and collapse function for a row only; if I need to expand all or collapse all, I'll happily right click on the column header and perform the function. The problem is when multiple BAs are all using the Smartsheet they collapse sections that I need opened, and when they Save (or auto save takes over), my section is collapsed when I refresh, so I'm needing to quickly expand and collapse mine and other users nested rows. Yes, there are two problem here.

I am trying to put together a simple order form for customers and I would like to include the images of the items that are available for customers to order. This way they know exactly what they are ordering. It is my understanding that this feature is not currently available. I would like for Smartsheets to consider this idea. For small business, it would make things so much easier for them to order products.

I would love to be able to be able to apply a conditional formatting template to any sheet I wished - much like a design theme in Office 365. And - if I change a rule, it would change it for all the sheets using that template. Can you imagine? How wonderful!

I would like the ability to add color to column headers or to rotate the text 90 degrees to minimize how long a sheet gets with multiple columns which would help visually on a dashboard.

100% agreed. We recently had a user accidentally delete 29 rows on a customer's sheet. Unfortunately, the rows had attachments and comments that needed to be restored, and the csv file download from the activity log was only a fraction of the data lost. After reaching out to customer support, I was informed that restoring all attachments is not guaranteed. I am honestly surprised Smartsheet does not have a better backup feature. This seems pretty basic.

Please make the undo button active. Or at the very least, make it possible to restore your sheet to a previous version.

Currently, browser search (Ctrl+F) in Smartsheet dynamic and timeline views only works on records that are visible on the screen. Because these views use virtualized rendering, users cannot search across the full dataset without manually scrolling.

This creates inefficiencies when working with large sheets, increases the risk of missing information, and limits the usability of dynamic and timeline views compared to grid view.

Proposed enhancement:
Enable search functionality that works across all records in dynamic and timeline views, not just visible ones.

• Improved user experience and consistency across views
• Better support for large datasets
• Increased adoption of dynamic and timeline views

We need the ability to duplicate (copy) an existing dynamic view to other sheets. We use templates and Smartsheet Control center, but when creating a new sheet (using SCC or Save As New) the dynamic view(s) are not also copied/duplicated. This creates a LOT of manual re-work.

It'd be great if, from the Dynamic View Settings, you could click Save As New in the top right and then choose a different sheet. Currently the Source Sheet or Report field is a just a link to the sheet.
