"First-to-come" update request

A suggestion to improve the system. I have created several workflows with update requests. And on many occasions the request needs to go to several persons at the same time. Depending on who is at work or available, will complete the Update request. The other persons will not do anything. I know that they can just click on submit to close them, but normally they do not. And when a task is complete, I can still see pending update requests and delete them manually. Would be perfect to create a similar update request, where the first one that submits an update closes all the other pending requests. But the existing should still be left as sometimes you need imput from several persons.
