Make notification links open in desktop app?

When email notifications are triggered, is there a way to click the link to the sheet and have it open in the Desktop App instead of a tab in the browser? I'm using Gmail and Chrome. Thanks in advance!

I have this same question, but I am using Outlook and Edge (all MS). I don't see an extension for Edge for Smartsheet. is there something different I need to do with Outlook/Edge?
