Gantt Chart Cuts Off in Dashboard View

I created a Gantt chart widget in a dashboard that pulls data from a report that in turn pulls that data from a sheet. The dashboard Gantt allows me to scroll both vertically and horizontally. All my rows can be seen with the list of tasks, but the columns that are supposed to show the full timeline cut off part way through the timeline. How can I have the Gantt scroll across the entire timeline?

here is a picture. the scroll bar only lets me scroll over to august even though there's a full year's worth of dates in the the source report.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now without open it in a separate window, but it's an excellent idea!

Thanks Andree. Can you clarify what you mean by "without it open in a separate window"? So there is a way to scroll through the whole Gantt chart in the dashboard if you open it in a separate window? How do you do that? The Gantt is one widget in the dashboard.

Also, what is the current threshold for scrolling across? Is it by a certain number of columns? A certain amount of time in the timeline?
