Force ranking in a survey

Has anyone ever leveraged in a survey the ability to provide a list of options and have the survey user force rank the top 5? How would you set up the sheet/form to have them see the total list (15) and then force rank their top 5?

Hi, Martha. Unfortunately, forms (even with logic) don't really support this. Here's a help thread that might be of use to you: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/85336/add-a-ranking-list

I set this up somewhat differently, because you have so many choices.

Each column has the same drop-down choices (15 total). I then created a form (image below) that requires the user to select one of the 15 options for each of their top 5.

Per Genevieve's article linked above, you can use the data you collect to count, sum or average options in the Sheet Summary or on a separate worksheet to identify the top choices among your respondents or to show the distribution of choices in a graph.
