Intelligent Reporting

Hello.

We have a portfolio of projects, each with their own risk register.

Is it possible that when a risk is added/updated with a certain score, e.g.15 and above, that the line can automatically be added to a different sheet, i.e. the programme risk register.

I don't want multiple entries for the same risk on different sheets that are managed separately as this can lead to disparity and confusion. I only want ones that score a specific amount to be flagged in a different sheet. If a report is the way forward, then that's fine as I can then just pull that to a dashboard. I'm just not sure how to go about the automation of 'if count = 15+, send to this report/sheet'.

Any ideas?

Katie

    Hi @KatieDi

I hope you're well and safe!

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

    Hi Andree,

    Thank you for your reply.

It may well work however I have no idea where to start with VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure as it's all totally alien to me!

I shall see what I can figure out.
