Form has a contact list field, for the contacts are not pulling into the form

Hi,

We created a form to take in change request. The sheet has a column 'Interested Party" and this is a contact list. When i am in the sheet, i can start typing a name and the contact list based onthe spell comes up. This does not work the same in the form. Is there a setting that I am missing?

Unfortunately, it's not possible now to search for all contacts, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

A workaround would be to add the contacts manually to the selection list and then they would be included.

Would that work/help?

If the form does not allow the user to select a contact from the list, but instead just saves the name, how does that impact my approval workflow when I am using the contact name from that field in my workflow automation?

I have the same situation. Don't understand the proposed work around "...add the contacts manually to the selection list...." Is this saying we would change the column type from Contact List to a Drop Down and then add all contacts to the drop down (potentially more than 100 people)?

It seems that Smartsheet is capable of using drop-down parameters in a form, but not contact lists.
