I enjoy being the Microsoft Admin for a non-profit organization, when I am not doing my paid job. I also enjoy being a Marching Band Dad. All three of my kids are in Marching Band this year!

I love going watching my dog run around with her friends at the dog park- it's the best kind of organized chaos and entertainment.

When I am not thinking about new Smartsheet ideas, I like to read, hike or spend time with my family and golden retriever : )

I spend time with my very large family - 4 daughters, 13 grandkids. Playing at the park, kicking the ball around with 4-year-old Robby, holding 6-week-old Xander when I'm tired, laughing like a silly schoolgirl with 6 little girls that I adore and talking with older boys to check in and make sure they feel loved. Family is a blessing, no matter how you are "related". :)

I enjoy sewing, puzzling and gardening. I live in Texas, so the gardening is hot work. I have 5 grandchildren and love to create outfits, costumes and decor for there rooms. Wither it is sudoku, 1000 piece puzzles or just recreating something new out of something old, puzzles have always been my go to.

I realized that I never posted my what I love doing when I am not using Smartsheet to better my life.....

My new role in life is "GiGi" to twin grandbabies and I enjoy EVERYTHING about them. Before they came along, my other hobby is taking pictures of mother nature and all her beauty. I am a member at the Missouri Botanical Gardens and spend lots of time there all year round, even in the winter. There pretty much is not a weekend that goes by that I am not taking pictures.

I love spending time outside and soaking up the sun! Whether it's shooting some hoops, swimming, enjoying music with friends by the lake, or simply going for long walks, you'll find me doing any of these activities during 90% of my free time.

So when I'm not neck deep in Smartsheet creating solutions for my work and my professional group, PMI, I am an avid video gamer and I have a podcast that I run with one of my closest friends where we talk about gaming, our experiences growing up with all the changes video games made during that time, and the geeky culture around gaming. With us both being gamer dads, we found it hard to find podcasts that we could listen to and not have to worry about our kids walking in while listening as most had way too much NSFW language and topics, so we started our journey to create a podcast that you could listen to with your family. That's why we started The HnK Video Game Experience podcast so that anyone could listen and not have to worry about bad language or topics that kids shouldn't hear.

I also enjoy getting to share that passion with my son and seeing him grow his love for video games and geeky things in general! LOL! I also love watching my son grow and succeed on his quest to earn his black belt in taekwondo through Tiger Rock. We recently went to the National Tournament in San Antonio where he earned a silver medal in forms and a gold in board breaking.

I love fiber arts: knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, sewing...if there's yarn or fabric involved, I'm in. This Grogu (baby yoda) is one of my recent crochet creations. My nerdiness extends beyond Smartsheet, and I often like to create items that fall into one of my geeky interests, like Star Wars, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley.

I enjoy interior design and gardening. And when I'm working on all of my projects, I love listening to audiobooks and podcasts. My front garden bed is completely edible! It's full of rosemary, lavendar, sage, oregano, thyme, and of course mint!
