Since we, as Admins, cannot turn off the Updated User Requests, can there be a way to create an automated response with information on the policy our company has developed for obtaining a Smartsheet license? This could include any links to a request form with built-in approval automation.

Hi,
We have a workaround - sort of. A customized Welcome screen has our policy for license provision and an embedded form where they can request a license. But that form is 2-fold - it allows us to recognize new users that need to be added to our account, as well as, those who truly need licenses. If they choose "creator", an automated approval workflow is initiated.
We also have created an automatic email out of outlook. When a user hits the upgrade button and the Sys Admins are sent the email request, the user receives an email with the form mentioned above. This way, if they close the Welcome Screen before reading, they still receive the form.
This seems to be working for us and is helping to capture collaborators.
