Bridge: Add Row module with empty cells
Hello - I am working a Bridge workflow to Get Row from a source sheet, and Copy Row with select columns to a target sheet.
The workflow between the sheets is working great, but my question is that some row cell information will be blank from the source sheet going to the target sheet and thus my Get Row Cells Values come in as the Value I put in their connected Key section. Is there a way to have an empty cell be shown instead of the states information? I'd hate to have to build unique automations to clear cell depending on the condition if the cell contains "{{states." or something notable.
Thank you in advance your help,
Michael

I misspoke. You would set one up for each column. The trigger would be when rows are added or changed and [Column Name] changes to any value, condition is [Column Name] contains {{, action would be Clear Cell Value in [Column Name].

I would imagine you should only have to build one clear cell automation that would clear any cell that contains {{.

@Paul Newcome Howdy sir! Thank you for chiming in. Are you speaking on just a general Smartsheet automation or something built through Bridge?
If the rows are inconsonant with their data. Meaning some row cells could have it sometimes and others come in blank from the source excel sheet. (like the above second image shows, furthest to the right shows some dates and some empty) How would you adjust for that variable?
- If I make individual automations per cell, I'd hit the limit of 5 automations running at once since I have more than 5 cells that might need clearing.
- I'm not aware of a Trigger looking at a whole row for a contains "{{." and only remove the "{{." in those cells.
- If I did conditions for each, the automation would only run once per row stopping the first time the condition is met and missing the next cells in the row if they need to become blank.
I'm hoping you might have another idea?
Thank you,
Michael
