We issued Surface Pro 7+’s and Surface Pro 9’s to managers to use in the field now that Smartsheet has become the main system for work orders and assignments. For some reason, when using the browser or app on these devices, we are unable to scroll by touching the screen and swiping up and down or left or right. We can scroll using the slider bars on the right side and bottom of the screen, but they are so narrow it can be hard to touch the right area so that it selects the slider bars. We don’t have this problem with any other web site or app.
Smartsheet Support stated that finger gesture-based scrolling functionality isn't built into the computer browser version of Smartsheet. They stated that the suggestion should be summitted to the online Community for consideration.
I am having the same issue. Very frustrating when updating sheets on site in tablet mode.
is there any solution to this yet, it is pretty disappointing that I have to find a mouse or hook up my keyboard. It works on the phone app, is there any way I can get the phone app on my computer?
There is an app for the computer but it has the same issue. You can finger scroll through the list of sheets but not in a sheet itself.
