Having the ability to upload file attachments (specifically, Word and PDF) to a Dashboard would be extremely useful.

Agreed. It appears that this was possible with former versions of Smartshee. Based on web results from the 2018-21 time frame, files could be uploaded, then linked onto the Dashboard. It's discouraging that Smartsheet has lost capabilities.
Very basic and essential. Smartsheet needs this. Currently I have to hold the documents in a separate sheet and manually copy the share links to a Shortcut widget every month before they expire, which is a little ridiculous.
