Docusign Integration Generating Blank Documents

Help! We recently upgraded our docusign account and then had to recreate our templates and remap them in our grid. When using the "Generate and Send with Docusign" automation, Docusign sends the signers blank documents. Why is it sending before populating the document? What am I doing wrong?

@Andrée Starå Yes! I have a sheet setup with automation to populate an HR form and send it to the manager for signature. But when the form reaches the manager via docusign, the data isn't there. Document builder is not "building" the document before it moves through Docusign but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Update: I deleted my template and started over and now everything is working normally. I may never know what I did wrong! :)
