Automations for time based requirements

Currently we can only use filter expressions and automation that are based on current day or previous day etc. Why can't we filter by past hours or other similar terms?

It would add so much functionality to Smartsheet in its various functions, such as project for one when assigning task durations by hours or to filter reports by hours?
