SmartSheet Integration with OpenAir for Budget Management

Hi,

Could you please confirm if there is any recommended way for integrating SmartSheet with OpenAir? The details are as follows -

• SmartSheet is used for Portfolio level reporting. It includes the list of projects, status, health indicator columns for tracking purposes
• OpenAir is used by the project teams to book the hours. Billing happens on the basis of booked hours (T&M)
• The requirement is to integrate OpenAir with SmartSheet so that for each project, SmartSheet portfolio summary can show things like Total Project Budget, Hours Used, Hours Pending, Budget Consumed, Budget Left etc.

Have you considered scripting the integration.

Smartsheet's API is pretty good and I see that OpenAir has REST services as well. https://www.openair.com/download/OpenAirRESTAPIGuide.pdf

You could pull out whatever data you need from Smartsheet and push it there via some code.
