Conditional Formatting - Select # of days in past

Conditional formatting should have an option that is relative to days that have passed.

I simply want a cell text to turn red if the date is 2 weeks (for example) in the past. The existing conditional formatting options are so close. "In the last (days)" and "in the past" are nearly there. It would be something like "is (days) passed".

Right now, I have to do a hidden column with a formula to add the 2 weeks time and then use that hidden column to trigger the conditional formatting. I'm glad there's a work around, but this seems like a common enough need that it should just be an available option.

"In the past" or "In the future" is too broad and not useful, in my opinion. I want to know if a date is a certain number of days ago so I can follow up on an item.
