Column management

It would be great to have a place to see / edit column titles and attributes. Maybe this already exists, or the idea has already been posted, but I couldn't find it. I'm also sure I'm going about it the wrong way, but what made me think of this is: this morning I was working my way across a sheet changing the name of about 47 columns to make selecting them easier in a report I was also building. It would be great to have a spot to manage column settings more easily.
