WorkApp Sheet Filtering

Hello, I recently set up some work apps for my team and I noticed that the filter button is greyed out, it's an essential function in their day-to-day workflow and I can't seem to find a work around, any help is appreciated.

Not sure I follow! Where do you see the filter button?

Can you share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.
