Permission Question - Workspace vs. Report

Hi - I've been testing this scenario and trying to google it but wasn't able to find anything. Just want to validate that I understand this correctly.

We have a workspace that we have given our users 'Edit - Cannot Share' access. Then we have reports/dashboards that we want our users to be able to tweak/modify - so my thought was to give them ADMIN access to the report. It looks like it works as expected when I tested it, but wanted to make sure because I couldn't verify when googling.

Again the scenario is: users have 'Edit - Cannot Share' access to the workspace but ADMIN access at the report/dashboard level.

Does that create work? or create any issues? Thank you!

Hi vzarzycki,

Yes, you are correct. The colleagues given Admin permissions to individual items will not affect the overall sharing permissions of the Workspace or create any issues. I found some literature you can reference for this subject below:
