Grid view Contact List is showing all previous users
Hi, We have a column set as a Contact List. When I click the properties of the column, the Contact List only shows the current users (correct). However, if I click in a cell and scroll through the list, it now shows all users, past and present. Users that are not in the active list of licenses (free or paid). When I click the Select Contacts icon in the bottom left corner of the drop-down list, I am presented with an option of All Contacts, or our company user list. I cannot find anywhere that I can set the default list to be the company user list. Please guide me. Thanks.

The options that show in a contact column cell come from multiple places:
- Any preferred contact values that you’ve set up in the Column Properties window.
- All collaborators shared to the sheet.
- Any other contacts or email addresses that have been assigned to other rows in the sheet.
- People in your personal Smartsheet contacts list.
- If you're a part of a Business or Enterprise account, other members of that plan.
Here's more information: Manage which contacts appear when you type in a cell
If you don't want to see the other options as you scroll through the cell list, you can restrict the column properties to show only your specific values.
Cheers,
Genevieve

There's a button you can toggle on in the Column Properties when you double click the column name:
