Set Default View in a Shortcut Widget

When a shortcut widget in a dashboard is linked to a Smartsheet item, those links always default to the grid view of an asset (if it's a sheet). If you are trying to promote gantt, card, calendar, or the new Board or Timeline views of an asset, it would be great if the user configuring the shortcut widget had the option to assign a default view. This would reduce a mouse click for the end user, and promote the desired way of working

Agree, plus the ability to select the default category. I have a dashboard I would like to display card view on. I have it in a published report and set to default to card view, but since I cannot select which column is the default and there are 3 drop down columns, it defaults to the wrong lane selection.
