Is there a way to use a Smartsheet form to do a survey with an auto-response?

I'd like to use a SS form to do a survey, and then when a person submits a response, have them get an auto-generated message like 'Thank you for submitting, a member of our team will contact you shortly to discuss your submission'. Is that possible?

Yes. That would be done in the form settings.
