Sharing a link in an automated workflow notification
Does anyone know how (or if) I can share a link in a workflow notification. Basically if certain conditions are met, then I want to send the contact an email with a link to a specific form.

Ah, I see! Those messages do not have rich text formatting, I do not believe that's possible. See this idea:

Hi, yes, you can customize the alert message and include a URL in the message. Give these articles a read:

Thanks Courney for getting back to me. I see in my earlier message that I wasn't clear.
I have used links in my messages, but they are the long URL's for a Smartsheet form. What I am looking for is the ability to do a hyperlink to the form name instead of putting in the actual link in the notification.

Again, thank you for your response. The info you sent was informative in that several people have been asking for this since 2022. Any idea when this might become a reality?

I'm a customer just like you, so no idea if it will happen. If you look at the yellow banner at the bottom of the original post, you can see Smartsheet's answer: "We love this idea too! While it's not a part of our current plan, this is exactly the kind of thing our team is thinking about every day. If we believe we can make this idea a reality, we'll plan to update the status here."

Thanks again!

It works if you are inserting the URL at the beginning of the message!

Thank you. I see that I can insert a URL in the message, but I would like to make it a hyperlink so that the person receiving the notification doesn't see the long Smartsheet URL.
