Approval tracing like update request

we are just able to trace an approval request on the column. there would be a list of approval requests like update requests. Also, would be better to manage those approval requests like cancellation, trigger from start again (we can use sequential approval requests in one automation) etc.

I regularly have approvers tell me they didn't receive an approval request, but have received others. Being able to see that the approval request sent, and what the status is (pending/complete) like with update requests would be very helpful. Bonus points for allowing users to resend or cancel the request from the original.

I regularly have approvers tell me they didn't receive an approval request, but have received others. Being able to see that the approval request sent, and what the status is (pending/complete) like with update requests would be very helpful. Bonus points for allowing users to resend or cancel the request from the original.

We have three columns for routing of approvals:

• Route for approval (this triggers workflow based on the drop-down item selected, e.g., "send mgr approval" / cell is cleared once the request has been sent)
• Status (connected to the approval workflow / auto populates once triggered)
• Status notes ( user can add brief details, for example "sent to Bob 12/6.") However, you can also determine this by right clicking on the triggering field to see when the request was sent.

Our approval workflow sets the status as "pending X user approval" upon the approval workflow being triggered. That is how we are able to tell what rows (requests) have been sent for approval. Not sure if this is helpful or not! I was searching for a solution to managing pending approval requests and came across this thread. :)
